About Dr. Miner:

Hello, I am Dr. Sean Miner. I am a fourth generation chiropractic physician and have been in practice for 20 years.

After working with my father and grandfather in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, for several years, I established a private practice in Redmond, Oregon in 1994. While my areas of special focus and interest are athletic injuries and pain management, I treat a wide variety of patient needs -- from automobile injuries and workers compensation claims to rehabilitation of knees, shoulders, ankles, and hands.

Most patients in my practice are active individuals. There are a growing number of senior patients who increasingly utilize this form of treatment. Treatment in this office is routinely two or three times more effective at reducing symptoms compared with a physical therapy program. Ask your family physician to consider a chiropractic referral if you are considering therapy.

I have long been associated with the Celebrity Golf Association [tahoecelebritygolf.com] and I have treated hundreds of elite athletes and entertainment celebrities. It is not only an honor to provide care, it is enlightening to realize how many top athletes, from Super Bowl quarterbacks to Olympic Gold medalists, rely on chiropractic care to recover from injuries or enhance their performance.

Just because I AM a chiropractor, doesn’t mean chiropractic is the best treatment for all conditions. It is, however, a great place to start. An evaluation is low cost and thorough, with a hands-on approach. Should additional diagnostic tests be needed, such as MRI or x-rays, you will be referred for those tests. Many times, x-rays are not required to treat your problem.

I work cooperatively with the medical community (neurologists, orthopedists, family physicians, physical medicine specialists) as well as the more natural healing arts, should a referral or recommendation be necessary.

If a more appropriate treatment option is indicated for your issue, you will be given a referral for that option. If chiropractic care IS the best option, you will enjoy a low cost, effective, and relatively painless therapy in a relaxed atmosphere.

Treatment visits are typically 20-45 minutes of hands-on approach.
